The price of a watch worn by Mark Zuckerberg will blow your mind

Mark Zuckerberg is wearing a Bulgari Octo Finissimo Ultra COSC watch.  Octo Finissimo Ultra COSC is priced at $590,000.  If calculated in Indian currency, the price of this watch is more than 5 crore rupees.  You will be surprised to know that only 20 pieces of this watch have been made in the entire world.  Each watch comes with a specially designed case that sets automatically.  With this watch, Bulgari has fitted a total of 170 components that make the watch function along with its special case.

In a conversation with Indian Express, watch expert and digital growth marketer Mehul Bhagwani spoke about the challenges involved in creating such a watch.

Bhagwani said that making such an engineering watch is not just about assembling the parts, but there is a bigger idea behind how to make a watch.  In a traditional watch the parts are vertical, but this method doesn’t work in such a thin watch.  Bulgari had to adopt a horizontal approach so that the component could fit in a flat plane.
