According to the Meteorological Department, the weather will be clear in Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and Odisha. But there are chances of heavy to very heavy rains over the coastal areas of Andhra Pradesh. An upper atmospheric storm occurred in various coastal areas of Odisha and Andhra Pradesh yesterday, due to which the Meteorological Department has also issued an alert.
Rain may occur in these states
The IMD has predicted light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning at various places over Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karikal, Kerala, coastal Lakshadweep and southern Karnataka during the period from October 31 to November one. Parvathipuram in Andhra Pradesh received 12 mm of rain on Monday. Jeyamma Valasa received 7 mm of rain, Komarada 4 mm and Sitanagaram 4 mm. Talking about Odisha, there was 8 mm of rain in Nischintakoili, 5 mm in Bisam Cuttack.
Status of Gujarat
The Meteorological Department has predicted dry weather for the next 7 days, so there will be no rain during the festival of Diwali. Along with this, according to the Meteorological Department, the wind direction has changed from north-west direction to north direction. On the other hand, record breaking heat has been seen in the atmosphere of Ahmedabad. However, according to Ambalal’s forecast, one more storm will form in the Bay of Bengal from November 7 to 10. On November 17-18, Gujarat will experience cold due to western disturbance. So during November 19 to 22, there will be a huge storm in the Bay of Bengal. Due to which the weather of Gujarat will change. Due to which there is a possibility that there will be more chaos in the state. So, there will be unseasonal rain in the state from 7 to 14 and 19 to 22 November. Ambalal Patel has predicted that the cold will increase in December.
Weather for the next seven days
Talking about the weather for the next seven days, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karikal are likely to witness unsettled rains from October 31 to November 3. Unsettled rains are forecast over the coastal areas of Karnataka on October 28-29. There are chances of thunder and lightning along with heavy rain from October 29 to November 2 over interior parts of Karnataka. Kerala, Mahi and Lakshadweep may experience erratic rains from October 28 to November 3. Very heavy rain is likely from November 1 to 3.
Light rain over West Bengal and Sikkim
As for northern states, West Bengal and Sikkim are expected to receive light to moderate rains on October 30 and 31. Odisha may experience light to moderate rain on October 28 to 29. Light to moderate rain is forecast in Jammu Kashmir and Ladakh on October 29.
